NEM-EMERGE: A Sister Project Addressing Soil-Borne Threats

Logo NEM-EMERGE

NEM-EMERGE tackles the growing threat of parasitic nematodes in both conventional and organic farming. The project develops sustainable solutions based on optimized crop rotations, resistant plant varieties, and the use of soil’s natural antagonistic potential. These approaches are supported by monitoring and risk assessment tools to improve decision-making and reduce crop losses.

POMATO: Innovation for Disease-Resistant Crops

Logo Pomato

POMATO focuses on protecting potatoes and tomatoes from harmful bacteria by developing natural pest control methods, identifying resistance genes, and using AI-based tools for early detection. Through field validation and integrated pest management strategies, the project aims to enhance crop resilience, reduce losses, and strengthen food security.

NextGenBioPest: Towards Sustainable Crop Protection
